HLH Sound Wall Installation Details
HLH Walls post and panel noise barrier wall system also includes a sleeve kit for a complete maintenance free installation.
The sleeve kit is comprised of the following items:
Vinyl Sleeve:
The vinyl sleeve gives the I-Beam an appearance of a vinyl finish. To attach the vinyl sleeve; the sleeve simply slides from a top of the I-Beam. (See photo)
Outside Vinyl Insert:
The outside vinyl insert is used as end I-Beam filler with our vinyl sleeve kit system to provide a flush look. This insert can also be used as a support leveler. (See photo)
C-Channel Steel Support Rail:
The c-channel support rail is used as an insert in the HLH Walls product line to add additional structural support on walls heights greater than 10’ with high wind loads. (See photo)
U-Channel Vinyl Insert:
The u-channel insert of the vinyl sleeve kit system is used with steel I-Beam, and sits on the inside web portions of the I-Beam itself. After the vinyl sleeve is placed on the beam, the u-channel inserts slide down from the top of the I-Beam on the inside vinyl sleeves.
Pyramid Cap:
HLH Walls vinyl pyramid caps are used as an aesthetically pleasing finishing option to our sound mitigation walls. The pyramid cap is attached to the top of our vinyl sleeve kit system surrounding the I-Beam. (See photo)
